Enjoy fine bistro kitchen with view at Lake Passade

Bistro-Café Fischerwiege at Lake Passade starts into its third season this year. The Cafe in Passade, a town which once was chosen as nicest village of Germany, prolonged its opening hours until 20 o'clock. Also many new dishes have been added to the menu.

Finest bistro kitchen can be found on the menu, for example, smoked salmon on salad of Beluga lenses with small potato fritters and horseradish cream. Or a Probstei hors-d'oeuvre plate with varying regional specialities, a potato-cream soup as well as vegetable curry in herbal pancake. The menu is further extended by seasonal dishes and fish from Lake Passade that is only 25 metres away.

People prefering sweets can choose between home-baked cakes, tortes and flans as well as waffles and muffins. Focus is also here on seasonal desserts. Desserts can be served with special coffee flavours of a private coffee roaster and extravagant tea creations made in samovars. If ordered in advance breakfast in country style is available too.

Last year the bistro was even mentioned in the gourmet's magazine "Feinschmecker". Located in a building that was built in 1826 and with thatched roof, it is simply gorgeous to see the sun beams shimmer on the lake’s surface.

If you would like to explore the region between the Baltic Sea and Kiel Förde more intensely, you might want to stay in one of the comfortable eleven double rooms and suites that are furnished in modern country home style.
