Castles, fortresses and mansions - also region Halle-Saale-Unstrut has lots of them. Worth doing is a trip to castle Neuenburg in Freyburg in Unstrut and to castle Eckartsburg in Eckartsberga.

In beautiful scenery wine is growing and subject of many conversations. The wine road leads from Nebra, Freyburg, Naumburg and Bad Kösen until the federal state of Thuringia.

The region is perfect for short trips, hikers and cyclist as well as fans of recreational holidays. Numerous health resorts offer relaxation. For those interested in archaeology and astrology, Nebra disk will be of interest: it is the first imprint of the sky and about 3,600 years old.
