An excellent university in one of Germany’s most popular towns - this is what you will find at Freiburg Albert Ludwig’s University. With 24,000 students enrolled in October 2013, students make up a substantial part of the city’s total population which is around 200,000. Freiburg is also favored by international students. 14,4 percent of the students are from foreign countries. Albert Ludwig’s University has several colleges of applied sciences, a college of music and an educational college.
