For people looking for tranquility and recreation, the Health Resort Park, the medicinal spring Dunaris, and also the “Sauerbrunnen” (a mineral spring) are the perfect choice. This clima-therapy health resort is well suited for wellness, hiking or bicycling holidays. The Eifelsteig hiking trail leads through Daun along river Lieser to the town of Manderscheid.

The Moselle Maare bicycle trail on the other hand begins in Daun and takes you through wonderful landscapes. Gently increasing paths, easy departures through woods and along river Maars make an exploratory tour through the “Volcanic Eifel” an exciting experience for the whole family.
