Rock'n'Pop museum: Unique in Europe

Throughout Europe the Rock’n Pop museum in Grönau is the only of its kind. It takes its visitors onto a trip through the history of 20th century rock and pop music.

On the 21st of July 2004 it opened its gates to show original exhibits of great musicians: the shirt of Jimi Hendrix, Marlene Dietrich's gloves, the hashish tin of John Lennon, Pete Townshend's guitar or the cross flute of Ian Anderson.

Besides exhibits, the permanent exhibition shows multimedia sounds, songs, photos and videos from 1877 till this day. However, also changing exhibitions, seminars, workshops and concerts are often enjoying great interest of music lovers.

Sound is to be experienced in the Rock'n pop museum. Thanks to sound halls and media installations tones can be not only heard, but really felt.
