Diversity right in the heart of the Schwäbische Alb Region

In Bad Urach you can do wonderful hikes, enjoy unspoiled nature, relax in the hot springs baths, stroll through a wonderful old town quarter with half-timbered houses and sample regional dishes and tastes.

If you like to hike and do some trekking, you will find five premium trekking trails called the "Grafensteige", all leading you to some of the most interesting places of interest around Bad Urach, for example  Urach Waterfall, Gütersteiner Waterfall, Wolfsschlucht (wolves gourge), several caves, ruins of castles and also rock with panoramic views. Being of up to 9,3 km length these trekking trails are planned for half a day. Good shoes are required because some parts of the trails lead up via small paths.

Fans of mineral hot springs will enjoy visiting the "AltTermen" which use spring water rising up from 770 meters under the earth with a temperature between 32 and 38 degrees Celsius, thus providing relaxing warmth in a vast sauna-scape within the spa facility.
