A lot of money changes hands in Frankfurt City

Maybe it’s the banks that make Zeil not only Frankfurt‘s biggest shopping mile but also one of the top-selling shopping streets in Germany. Here you find brand names and big department stores. However, the wide shopping street with lots of plane trees has to offer much more. Street musicians, takeaways and small places for resting turn window-shopping into a real experience.

To shop for luxury, you just have to turn around the corner into Goethe street. But there are also many interesting shops in small side streets which you can discover on a walk through city centre.

Bornheim district’s Berger Street invites for shopping too. In Sachsenhausen, a part of town to which practically no tourist comes, you can discover unique and new trends in fashion along Schweizer Street and Brücken Street.

In the small covered market Kleinmarkt Halle Frankfurt’s locals find nearly everything they need for culinary joy. Flea markets at the Main shore or in east harbour add a special flavour to a shopping tour in the Main metropolis.
