This city is “in”

Leipzig booms! Not only in aspect of sports since RB Leipzig returned to the 2nd national league. And also not because of its sponsor Red Bull. It booms, because of its active art scene, its creative scene in the city’s eastern part, its spontaneous parties and hip events as well as affordable rents.

Saxon's metropolis seems to pass Berlin in terms of popularity. What is the charm of this city? Maybe it's because Leipzig is still lacking trendies and mindedness that is already present in Berlin. In Leipzig you can still afford going to the theatre. There are lots of affordable apartments, many cycle trails and lakes for nature lovers. The bar scene is not easily equalled elsewhere.

Music is still top in Leipzig. The garment house orchestra and Thomanerchor, for example, became internationally known due to Johann Sebastian Bach and Felix Mendelsohn-Bartholdy.
