A Relaxing Break from the Daily Routine

The Stuttgart district of Bad Cannstatt is a tingly, bubbly place. Its 19 springs, 13 of which are state-recognised for their curative properties, produce some 44 million litres of mineral water daily. Greater mineral water resources are to be found in Europe only in Budapest. This precious natural asset is utilised in many different ways at the three spas: DAS LEUZE Mineralbad, MineralBad Cannstatt and Mineral-Bad Berg. The carbonated water is used in the swimming pools, for the various therapeutic facilities and in the public drinking fountains.

Stuttgart's mineral spa "DAS LEUZE" offers a maximum of bathing enjoyment, with no fewer than eight swimming and bathing pools and a total water area of more than 1700 square metres in the mineral indoor and outdoor pools. In 2008 it received the "Wellness Stars Therme" award with four stars from Baden-Württemberg's Association of Health Spas (Heilbäderverband), while the LEUZE's sauna facilities were awarded the "SaunaPremium" quality certificate with five stars by the Deutscher Sauna-Bund, as well as the TripAdvisor's "Certificate of Excellence 2015".

At the Mineral-Bad Berg 5 million litres of natural mineral water bubble daily from six springs into the in- and outdoor swimming pools. The flow rate from the springs is so high that no chlorination, mechanical circulation or other form of water treatment is necessary. Since 26th September 2016 the Mineral-Bad Berg has been undergoing modernisation costing nearly 30 million euro. After completion the spa will once more be able to welcome its guests with its traditional charm in new splendour. Following the estimated construction period of two years the Mineral-Bad Berg is scheduled to reopen at the end of 2018.

The special feature of the MineralBad Cannstatt, on the other hand, is its extensive, 1200-m² sauna area. The swimming and bathing pools, the Russian-Roman steam bath and the mineral sauna are fed by five mineral springs.

So if you want to leave your daily cares behind you, Stuttgart's just the place for you.
