„Summer at harbour city“ is something special: You can experience fun things free of charge! Under the open sky, at promenades and nice places on the water, several events are staged between 1st of June and 31st of August, 2014.
In summer “Hafenstadt” (Harbour City) offers a colourful programme for people ofevery age. „Summer at harbour city“ offers events for children, dancing, readings, poetry sessions and an ecumenical forum. A total of 29 free events will be staged in 2014. The festival area stretches from Magellan terraces in the west until Baakenhafen in the east.
One example: Tango, swing, salsa and activities for children will be taking place along harbour promenades and other contemplative places. Creative activities for children and young persons, as for example the "sailors‘ parcour" are suitable for the whole family.
Summer tango, swing dance and Latino summer promise lots of fun, especially because then one of Hamburg’s squares turns into a dance floor. Here you can learn dancing at an introductory course or just watch show dancers.
